Well, I'm far from calling Watchmen a masterpiece, I've never been a fan of it. Neither the comic book, nor the film. But I just watched it for the second time and I must admit 90% of special effects is stunning. Even though it's from 2009. I truly recommend it to you, only because of the visual side. The script is rather poor when compared, but there are a few lovely lines.

One of my favourites is when Ozymandias says he's not a comic book villain xD Or when he tells Daniel to grow up. Honestly, I think he's got best lines in the film.

What is worth mentioning too is the soundtrack. The greatest are, of course, The Times They Are a-Changin' and Mozart's Requiem, but also a song I don't know by name but appears in the opening fight scene (they're the only pieces that actually match with the scenes in which they appear). Funny thing that I first heard of Watchmen because of My Chemical Romance's Desolation Row and it doesn't really appear in the movie, not even for a second. First time you can hear it is when the ending credits appear.

I wonder what else I could tell you, I don't want it to be one big spoiler. I guess all I wanted to say is you could watch it if you've got free time and feel like watching something pretty and not necessarily super intelligent.

Oh, and I've got a break in cooking.
Lol, there's a pathetic series going on TV right now and they're getting excited about Spaghetti Napoli, instant kind made by pouring boiled water in totally artificial powder to make sauce you apply on pasta. Honestly, do you find it a dish worth getting excited about? Such emotions would be understandable if it all was home-made: pasta and the sauce out of real tomatoes, smashed, fried, mixed with baked garlic, fresh basil etc.
